Portuguese and Czech women face their first duel towards Euro2025 at Dragão

The Portuguese team, coached by Francisco Neto, seeks to build an advantage at Dragão that will allow them, in the second leg, in the Czech Republic, to validate their third consecutive classification and be present in the draw, to be held on December 16th.

The Portuguese women’s football team faces the Czech Republic today, at Estádio do Dragão, in Porto, at 7:45 pm, in the first duel of the last stage towards the final phase of the 2025 European Championship, in Switzerland.

The Czech Republic has an advantage in official games between both teams, but Portugal is committed to reversing the trend, and already qualifying for Euro2025, which already happened in the 3-1 victory in a friendly played at the beginning of the year.

Portugal secured qualification for the second and decisive qualifying play-off, which will have the second leg on Tuesday, at the AGC Arena, in Teplice, after beating Azerbaijan, with a 4-1 victory in Baku and a 4-1 victory 0 in Vizela.
